Elizabethtown Gains UPS e-Logistics Center
UPS e-Logistics will build a 400,000 square foot logistics and technology center in Elizabethtown that will employ 100 people. Construction on the facility has begun. The Elizabethtown facility will be the third UPS e-Logistics facility, with one in Louisville and one in Ontario, Canada. The company offers warehousing, inventory management, order fulfillment, inbound and outbound transportation, returns management, customer call centers and management reporting.

Faurecia to Expand, Create 80 Jobs in Louisville
Faurecia, a French manufacturer and supplier of automotive equipment, will expand its Louisville facility and create 80 jobs within two years. The company will invest $7.6 million to expand its 130,000 square foot plant. The project involves converting 50,000 square feet of storage space into manufacturing space. Faurecia currently employs 175 in Louisville.

TechRepublic to Expand in Louisville
Louisville-based TechRepublic, a company that offers publications and an interactive Web site for information technology professionals, will expand its Louisville operations and add 72 jobs in Web architecture, development and project management. TechRepublic will lease an additional 12,000 square feet adjacent to its offices in Louisville on Corporate Campus Drive, and invest $1.6 million in facility improvements and equipment.

BPB Celotex Opens New Plant in Carrollton
BPB Celotex has opened a gypsum board manufacturing plant in Carrollton. In has an annual production capacity of 700 million square feet of gypsum board and is one of the largest gypsum board manufacturing plants in the U.S. The investment for the plant was $72 million, and employment will reach 100 people.
