GKN to Establish Headquarters in St. Louis
United Kingdom-based GKN will purchase the Boeing Company’s fabrication business in St. Louis , and establish its North American aerospace operations headquarters there, bringing 300 new jobs to the area within two years.

Tai Shin Foods Brings Jobs to Missouri
Tai Shin Foods & Frozen Industrial Company, a Taiwanese food company, will purchase the idle Colorado Meat packaging plant in Pleasant Hope, Missouri. Tai Shin will convert the facility into a pork processing plant, employing 250 workers. The company will buy hogs from farmers in Missouri, as well as other states, and will export nearly 90 percent of the processed meat to Asian markets.

GPX Consolidates Missouri Operations
GPX, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hagemayer, NV, an international marketing and distribution company with operations in Europe, North and South America and Asia-Pacific, will lease 180,000 square feet in the St. Louis Commerce Center. The site will consolidate its Missouri operations, relocating its headquarters and national distribution centers to St. Louis from High Hill, Missouri. Projected job creation was not announced.
