Applied Card Systems Expanding in Beckley
Applied Card Systems will open a new operations center in Beckley that will employ 450 people. Applied Card Systems processes VISA and MasterCard accounts, primarily for Cross Country Bank, a national issuer of credit cards. The center, to be in the 58,000 square foot former Sun Electronics building at Beckley Crossing, will be Applied Systems fifth center.
More than 100 Jobs to be Created in Jackson County
Two Companies will create more than 100 jobs in Jackson County. ENE of West Virginia will construct a 37,000 square foot facility on a five-acre site in Jackson County Maritime and Industrial Center, while Commercial Plastics of West Virginia will construct a 40,000 square foot facility on an adjacent five-acre site.
Orgill Opens Berkeley County Center
Orgill Inc. has opened the companys $20 million distribution center in Berkeley County. Headquartered in Memphis, Orgill markets hardware products to independent hardware stores, home centers and lumber yards. The company also markets its products under three national store brands: Trustworthy Hardware, Sentry Hardware and Golden Rule Lumber Centers. The Martinsburg facility will employ 200 workers and provide an annual payroll of $7 million.
Structural System to Locate to Greenbrier County
Structural Systems will open a $1.1 million operation at Rainelle in Greenbrier County and create 75 jobs during the next three years. Structural Systems manufactures wall panels, roof and floor trusses for the housing and construction industries.
Amma to Gain Distribution Center, 75 Jobs
National Industrial Lumber Company will invest $3,8 million to open a distribution and manufacturing facility in Amma that will create 75 jobs within three years. National Industrial Lumber Company, based in North Jackson, Ohio, is a wholesale distributor of building products to retail lumber and building material establishments.
