Tech Venture Capital Fund Launched in Tennessee
The
Tennessee Technology Development Corp. and Tech 2020 jointly
announced on March 15 the successful initial closing of
the TennesSeed Fund, an early stage technology-oriented
venture capital fund. The TennesSeed Fund will make equity
investments in early stage, emerging growth companies in
the communications, materials processing, information/internet
technology, and biotech industries across the state. Typical
investments will be in the range of $500,000 to $3 million.
