Custom Tank Technology to Open New Plant

Custom Tank Technology (CTT) will open a new 113,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Griffin. The company has moved into an existing facility in the Griffin-Spalding Industrial Park that has 98,000 square feet of manufacturing space, and 15,000 square feet of office space. CTT will be in operation this spring, manufacturing diesel fuel tanks.

Michaels Stores Lands in Savannah

Michaels Stores, Inc., announced in February the location of a 250,000-square-foot Michaels Import Facility in Savannah. The import facility, which will be located in Crossroads Business Center, will be used to import more than 1,000 containers a year through the Savannah Port. The facility will service the company's Southeastern stores. Employment at the facility was not announced.
