Paper Investing $66 Million in Memphis
International
Paper Company will add 950 employees within three years
in Memphis. The company is expanding, building Tower III
at International Place in Memphis. The $66 million expansion
will include investing $46 million to build the 10-story,
213,000-square-foot Tower III, plus $20 million to expand
its facilities at Willow Lake Business Park.
Clarksville
Company Expands Metal Forging Operations
SPX
CONTECH/Metal Forge Company will expand their metal forging
operations in Clarksville. The $17 million expansion will
add diecasting improvements and include 50 new employees.
SPX-Metal Forge merged earlier this year with SPX-CONTECH
and currently employs 90 at its plant in the Clarksville-Montgomery
County Corporate Business Park. The company located in the
park in 1979 and have undertaken three previous expansions
totaling $12 million.
